Here is a quick gameplay tease for our next iOS game called “Zombie Bunnies”. 

The graphics/animations are NOT finalized (the circular objects shooting out of the ship are placeholders for the actual ZOMBIE BUNNIES) and this is just to show off some of the crazy destructive mayhem that will be found in the game.

When it’s complete the ship, the people, the bunnies, the explosions and more will be refined to perfect gory and destructive awesomeness…and there will be sound.

We’re hoping to get the game out BEFORE 2012…fingers crossed! :)

Squirmee REDUX is LIVE!!!

I proudly announce that Squirmee REDUX is LIVE!!!  And to celebrate, Squirmee REDUX is on sale for $0.99 USD from now until 10/22…so get your copy today!

Here are the new features for you guys to enjoy:

  • The Earth Tree has basically been completely redone, so it’s a brand new experience (less frustrating and more fun).
  • The Ice and Fire Tree have been HEAVILY modified for difficulty and fun.  Many of the Ice levels are brand new and the Fire Tree (the most un-played Tree of them all because of it’s difficulty has been eased back quiet a bit).
  • Finally, and this is the BEST IMPROVEMENT yet, a “Tap to Begin” feature has been implemented which allows you to actually watch a level in motion BEFORE you have to tackle it.  Gone are the days where Squirmee dies almost instantly when a level loads.

Squirmee REDUX has kept the fun and removed the frustration. PLAY ON!!! :D

Squirmee REDUX has been submitted!!!

Finally!!! I finished the MAJOR changes for Squirmee REDUX and submitted the new and improved game to Apple.  It’s in their queue and should hopefully be approved sometime next week.  When it goes live I’ll post details of all the improvements :)

The Evil Dr. Hare has blueprints to create four different types of killer Zombie Bunnies: Shoot Bunny - This bunny flies fast and straight.  It does little damage but can overwhelm with numbers. Drop Bunny - Its razor sharp teeth are great for biting off the heads of its victims. Bomb Bunny - This bunny is explosive.  It causes massive damage to all in its blast radius. Fat Bunny - The sheer size of this bunny is what makes it so dangerous.  It’ll bounce and roll leaving nothing but death and destruction in its wake.

Squirmee REDUX - Coming SOON!!!

Hello All,

I’m finding myself in an interesting situation. Our next game Zubots (yes, that is our next game…more info coming soon), programmatically, is ready to be shopped around for publishers so it doesn’t need my skill right now. And all we’ll really need to do for a few days is some artwork which I don’t handle. So…for a few days, I have some free time.

I’ve been pondering about what to do with my free time AND I’ve come up with something…crazy, wonderful, maybe stupid, but TOTALLY fun. Since Squirmee hasn’t been selling well with the main complaint being it’s difficulty, I’ve decided that I’m going to initiate an all out Squirmee REDUX!!!

For this week, and this week alone, I am going to re-visit EVERY level in Squirmee and the Puzzling Tree, and I’m going to update, clean up, change and make as perfect as I can. I’m going to make the levels much easier (but not brain dead easy) and I’m going to add in a new feature or two that should help with the gameplay as well.

It’s going to be epic, AND, of course, it’ll be a FREE update for those who already own Squirmee. It’s basically going to be 75 brand new levels BUT you’ll get them all for FREE…We’re even going to re-brand the name and everything (Squirmee REDUX).

So while we work on Zubots and getting a publisher, we’re going to give Squirmee one last shot in the arm to see if he can find his audience. I’m going to keep announcing this to the world, but please spread the word. Squirmee REDUX is coming (and soon). It’ll be a free update for all current owners of Squirmee and the Puzzling Tree, and it’ll be a new and improved experience through the puzzling tree
